Getting back to the basics

When I moved to New York in July of 2011, I made a commitment that I would spend more time with passion projects, network often, and entrench myself in the blossoming startup community here in New York City. In the close to 4 years I have been here, I have found it to be very challenging to do more than one thing well. Because my livelihood in this city depends so heavily on my career, I have put most of my eggs into one basket, only to neglect the other areas of my life I wanted to pursue. This blog post is all about me reflecting over my recent successes and failures so that I can get back to the basics and focus on what matters to me.
